I like taking photographs of just about anything. I find it extremely easy to take pictures of flowers and other nature surroundings. I would love to take pictures of animals but they are very difficult to capture. So I will often get flower or nature photos because they are still and you can take many photos of the same thing with different angles and it still looks cool. I like using my father's Canon EOS Digital Rebel and my iPhone. Most of the pictures that I take are up close and from the flat view. I actually do not like using lots or any post production because it is less natural. I want to take my photos and show them how they were and are. If you do too much post production it will look fake and I don't care for that look. I want it to look extremely natural. Nature has its own natural beauty.
I have so many inspirations. First off I would say my dad because he likes taking sports photographs of my brother and I. Next would be my pets because they seem to always look so cute and are often in weird places and positions. One of my favorite pictures that I took is one of my dog Jema its is up-close and showing her nose. She is very lazy at times so I can get some pretty amazing photos of her. She is quite photogenic. My work is different from others because it is natural. My pictures have very little editing, and are of different things and different angles. I also feel like my pictures are interesting in their own way. I have been told that my are not boring. I try to keep them interesting but some are definitely better than others.
My artwork is important to me because it is a good way to express myself. My artwork means a lot to me. I am good at taking criticism because I play sports and I have adapted to learning how to improve myself for the better. I want to take an amazing picture one day that is so natural and real you can feel it. I know this is possible because when I went on my college visit to Cornell University I walked through their student art gallery and saw and up-close picture of a strawberry patch but it was focused more on the strawberry. It was so real and beautiful, while looking at it you could smell the strawberries. I want people to like my photos. I know that a lot of people in my photography class enjoy my pictures which is why I like taking pictures there is no better feeling than someone enjoying something that you did.
